Two new games on the way

We make fun stuff & casual games.

Yoozz is a small, independent studio building bite-sized games, playful apps and little moments of joy — and sharing the journey to inspire others to make things too.

Who we are

A tiny studio with a big appetite for fun.

Yoozz began in 2024 with a simple idea: make things that put a smile on people's faces. Small games you can pick up in a minute, playful tools that make everyday life a little lighter, and stories that encourage people to start creating.

🎮

Casual games

Bite-sized, feel-good games you can enjoy in a coffee break — cute characters, simple controls, plenty of charm.

🎨

Art & characters

Hand-crafted worlds and creatures, from a tiny pixel-art turtle in a sunlit garden to glowing coral reefs under the sea.

Inspiration

We share what we learn along the way to help others take their first step into making their own ideas real.

Our games

Made with love (and lots of snacks).

Two games we're putting the finishing touches on right now. Neither is out yet — here's a sneak peek.

Boogie Micro Pet: Buk-i playing happily
Boogie Micro Pet: the garden at night
🚧 Coming soon Virtual pet iOS & Android

Boogie Micro Pet

Look after Buk-i, a tiny pixel-art turtle living in a cosy Sunlit Garden. Feed it snacks, play mini-games together, tuck it into bed — and watch your little friend grow and evolve.

  • Feed, play, wash and put Buk-i to sleep
  • Three mini-games: Memory Match, Apple Catch & Pond Hop
  • The garden follows your real day & night — sunrise to moonlight
  • Collect friendship gems and unlock Buk-i's first evolution

Reefbound

Small steps. Brighter seas. Swim as Shelly, a little sea turtle with a big heart, and bring Earth's coral reefs back to life — one connected garden at a time.

  • Restore ten real-world reefs, from the Maldives to Belize
  • Close loops to reconnect gardens to the Heart Reef
  • Defend your reef and awaken each island's Guardian
  • Fill your journal with the wildlife you discover

Earlier work

Where it all started.

Before Yoozz, we were already building things that make everyday life a little easier for our community.

Community app Tauranga, NZ Before the official app

Collection Day Tauranga

A simple app that let Tauranga locals easily check their rubbish collection day. We built it so people could know when their bins went out before the council's official app was released — no more guessing, no more missed pickups.

It taught us that the best products are the ones that quietly make someone's day better — a lesson we carry into every game we make.

Inspiration
“Start small. Make it fun. Share it with the world — someone out there needs exactly the thing you want to make.”

Part of why Yoozz exists is to inspire people. We love encouraging others — friends, students, first-time makers — to chase their ideas, whether that's a tiny game, an app, or something nobody's thought of yet.

🌱 Start tinyA micro idea finished beats a giant idea forever "in progress".
🎈 Keep it playfulIf it makes you smile while making it, it'll probably make others smile too.
🤝 Share the journeyShow your work early. Learning out loud helps everyone grow.

Let's make something fun.

Got an idea, a collaboration, feedback on our games, or just want to say hello? We'd love to hear from you.
